Editorial - Hunger

When the rich just want to be richer no matter what the cost to others or the world is the greatest human failing, and it happens in all countries. Natural resources that belong to ALL are misappropriated to feed the ENDLESS GREED of the rich in society both individuals and multinational companies. When will we realise that you can't eat dollars or euros or any other money. The day may come when all the dollars cannot buy anything as all the resources have been plundered.

FACT - 11.3% of the world's population is hungry. That's roughly 805 million people who go undernourished on a daily basis, consuming less than the recommended 2,100 calories a day.

Not every poor person is hungry, but almost all hungry people are poor. Millions live with hunger and malnourishment because they simply cannot afford to buy enough food, cannot afford nutritious foods or cannot afford the farming supplies they need to grow enough good food of their own.
